The Bible (New Testament and Old) were written of God’s creation of man, moral law, and the story of Jesus (New Testament) plus the other apostles or messengers of God. Jews follow the Old Testament while Christians follow the New. Muslims follow the Qu’ran which shares the same history as the Gospel of the same creator (Allah the God) and the messengers and prophets of God (Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Jesus, Muhammed). All the characters, events and history are related in all three texts but they differe in how they are modernly revered. The Jews follow the Torah and Isreal before Christ, Christians follow Jesus and the Rebirth while Muslims follow all messengers namely Muhammed stating that Jesus was a messenger of God rather than the Son of God but still equally important as every messenger of God. They share similar morals and behavioural rules to live a just life.

The overarching purpose of all three texts is that the Afterlife is more important than this life and at the time of each soul’s passing, the Creator will judge them and decide on their path of blessing in the afterlife or eternal punishment and it is the soul’s duty to repent and live a morally just life on this Earth. It give’s evidence, stories and passages in the texts as proof of God’s word. The laws from modern religion were common decent practices at the time of writings. For example muslims needed clothing for decency, to avoid the heat, and not eat carrion or pigs that roll in filth (literally states these reasons word for word in the Quran). There are social differences today and 2000 years ago such as financial equality between men and women but in the Quran it says women must be provided for as with children and be given total devotion until death to one’s wife. Charity and prayer are also mandatory for those not sick or disabled. I have not read the LGBT content of the bible although I have read a large part of the bible and have not come across it, but in the Quran there is no mention of homosexuality. Confucianism and Hinduism follow their own beliefs in the term of living with family values, rather than Dieties for the Chinese and finding middle way of balance whereas the Hindu believe in Karma and Reincarnation.

All religions stress peace, violence as a last resort but strength in one’s people and fighting for morality with the utmost power of God. God knows all and can exact the worst punishment or blessing in the afterlife after judging each person’s life…
